Joining our 90+Brunello Wine Club, you would be allowed to receive direct purchase option on a quarterly basis from the same wineries you have seen and others of the same concept.
You would follow prediction ratings of harvest and be able to plan in advance your supply.
We would try to plan not to use courier shipment and, with the possibility of merging with other consignee, allow yourself to receive Brunello at home at producer's price.
You would not need to have participated to a wine tour to join the club.
The principle of the club is simple. Cost of personal purchase wine shipping is prohibitive for most of the wines. On best deals you could go down to 10 euro per bottle on a 12 bottles shipment. Generally speaking, distributor and retailer markup could add to 3 to 5 times the actual cost from farmer. Therefore, on wines that are retailing for less than 30 euro or 40 dollars, you might not find it a good deal, or even spending more than the retail price, although you might still prefer to get your "own wine". In case of Brunello with high ratings. the cost of shipping and the pleasure of having it from your known producer would make it a rather outstanding deal.
This is the opposite of a monthly wine club, where you would get a selection of wines. Wine is the always same, and it's on an annual basis, and it's one of the best wines you would ever wanted to own and share with guests.
